Latest company news about Shantui Unveils 46meter Boom Pump for Concrete Industry

Traditional concrete pump trucks have long struggled with height limitations at construction sites, often requiring expensive and time-consuming scaffolding installations. A new 46-meter boom pump truck is transforming this challenging scenario, offering an efficient and cost-effective solution for high-rise buildings and deep foundation projects.

Unprecedented Reach

While standard concrete pump trucks typically feature 36-meter booms, this engineering marvel extends an additional 10 meters, achieving a remarkable 46-meter reach. This extended capability allows for direct concrete placement in taller structures and deeper excavations, eliminating the need for intermediate scaffolding. The innovation significantly reduces both construction timelines and overall project costs.

Impressive Technical Specifications

The pump truck boasts exceptional performance metrics: a maximum output pressure of 8.5 MPa and a pumping capacity reaching 160 cubic meters per hour. Its vertical placement height reaches 45.5 meters, with horizontal placement extending 40.5 meters and downward placement capability of 32.8 meters - specifications that cover nearly all complex construction scenarios.

Enhanced Maneuverability

Engineers have optimized the outrigger system with a compact design, featuring front outriggers spanning 9.5 meters and rear outriggers at 10.5 meters. The equipment also incorporates a unique One-Side Support (OSS) function, allowing operation in confined spaces by reducing the required footprint. This feature significantly improves job site adaptability.

This technological advancement represents a substantial leap forward in concrete placement technology, promising to enhance construction efficiency while reducing operational expenses for high-rise and complex foundation projects.
